Please read these Terms of Service (“Agreement”, “Terms of Service”) under which you, the Web Site visitor (“You” or “Your” or “Visitors” or “Members”) carefully before using www.counselingfinder.com(“the Site”) operated by Counseling Finder (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions for your use of the Site at www.counselingfinder.com.

The Terms of Service includes information about your legal rights and covers areas such as automatic subscription renewals, limitations of liability, resolution of disputes by mandatory arbitration rather than a judge or jury in a court of law, and a class action waiver.

By accessing or using the Site in any manner, including, but not limited to, visiting or browsing the Site or contributing content or other materials to the Site or member or visitor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Capitalized terms are defined in this Agreement.

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the services or otherwise access the site.

Relationship with Counseling Finder

We may suspend or terminate your account, if you break the rules, falsifying information. You agree to some basic rules when using Counseling Finder Platform. We use the word “Platform” in describing any website, application, membership packages, visitor profiles and member profiles.

We reserve the right to delete any information You post on Our Site that We in Our sole discretion determine to be inaccurate, violation of law or otherwise a violation of Our policies.

Your Account and Membership

You must be at least 18 years old to use our website.

Fees, Payments, and Offers

We charge for certain features on our website for our members. If you’re a professional or facility member, you’re responsible for paying for organizer subscription fees related to you profile membership. These fees are billed on regular and/or recurring cycle (unless you disable auto-renewal or cancel your membership), this could change in the future. Also, some professionals and facilities charge money for booking an appointment in Counseling Finder Member Profile. To be a member we charge an annual fee for our membership.

Payment to Counseling Finder. Members are responsible for paying for the package membership and any other applicable fees to Counseling Finder on time and through our approved methods of payment. Members who allow their membership package to lapse are subject to removal as the member associated with their account, may be terminated or transferred to another member. If we remove, suspend, or terminate your account in connection with the violation of this Agreement, we are not obligated to refund any member membership fees paid to Counseling Finder.

Third Party Payment Processing.  Visitors and Members that use the Site to accept payments or pay for services from other members or visitors, must comply with the terms of conditions of the third party provider. Counseling Finder does not provide those payment services, is not a party to your agreement with the applicable third-party provider, and does not assume liability or responsibility for your use of those third-party merchant payment services.

Third Party Video Conferencing/Online Counseling. 


    1. Members must have certification training for Online Therapy or Group Therapy provider and must show proper documents of training before providing online sessions for any interaction using third-party video conferencing through third-party platform. If you fail to show certificates of training, you will not be able to offer these services. Members must have Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (“HIPAA”) Compliant Business Associate Agreement with third-party video conferencing/online counseling.


    1. Visitors are at their own discretion when choosing online therapy or group therapy with our Members. You will be directed to a third party site and is not a party to your agreement with the applicable third-party provider, and does not assume liability or responsibility for your use of those third-party video conferencing or online counseling. Please read third-party terms and condition.


No Endorsement of Third Party Site Material. The Site content may include third party materials in regards to information, services, products provided by third parties (Third Party Site Material”). We do not assume any responsibility or liability for any Third Party Site Material. We do not endorse, warrant, or guarantee of any information, instructions, opinion, products or services that are contained within the Third Party Site Material.

No Practice of Counseling or Medical. We are not a practicing counselor, psychologist, psychiatrist, medical stabilization, inpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, sober living or any kind, nor any other in the branch of mental health and substance abuse. We are simply maintaining and creating the Site and not providing behavioral healthcare services to you. If you believe some is needing immediate assistance, please call 911.

Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Counseling Finder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You are responsible for the Content you posted on your member’s profile. You give us a license to use this Content to operate, improve, promote and protect Counseling Finder and the Site.  Our Privacy Policy will explain how the information you provide about yourself or facility and the information shared.

Content License from You. We do not claim any ownership of your Content. But for the Site to be able to operate, promote, protect and improve Counseling Finder and the Site, you hereby grant Counseling Finder a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable right and license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, publish, publicly display, publicly perform, distribute, and create derivative works of, your Content and images to commercialize and exploit the copyright, trademark, publicity, and database rights you have in your Content. This license continues even if you delete your account, for us to operate the Site.


We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with you. All provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

Links To Other Sites

Our Site may contain links to third-party sites that are not owned or controlled by Counseling Finder. Counseling Finder has no control over and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party sites or services. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of any third-party site that you visit.

Visitors using the Site are responsible for their decision on professional counselors and facilities provided through the Site, we do not claim any responsibility in your choice of the member, professional counselors or facilities. You agree not to hold us responsible for anything that happens related to transactions with third parties, member interactions, online sessions, or in connection with Counseling Finder Members. You also agree not to hold Counseling Finder the Site responsible for their negligence in connection with their Contents, Members, Memberships.

Search engines can see public areas of the Site. Your profile and content within these areas, such as your name and location that you provide during registration. Your membership is public and may appear in search results.

Class Action Waiver

The parties hereto waive any right to assert any claims against the Site or other parties as a representative or member of any class or representative action. This waiver shall apply to any matter whatsoever between the parties hereto which arises out.

Governing Law

This Agreement (and any further rules, policies, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States (USA) without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Changes To This Agreement

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of Service by posting the updated terms on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms of Service. Please review this Agreement periodically for changes. If you do not agree to any of this Agreement or any changes to this Agreement, do not use, access or continue to access the Site or discontinue any use of the Site immediately.
