Lifeskills South FloridaDUALLY LICENSED TO TREAT PSYCHIATRIC AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDERS FOR MEN AND WOMEN AGES 18+
Since 1991, Lifeskills South Florida has offered customized treatment programs for men and women ages 18 over suffering from psychiatric and substance use disorders. We accept private pay and work with out of network benefits to assist clients’ access to care. Our south Florida facility offers individuals a warm and comfortable setting to recover. We provide residential and outpatient treatment services for adults with substance use disorders, which may be accompanied by psychiatric and trauma-based disorders. Lifeskills South Florida is licensed by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR), Florida Department of Children & Families (DCF), Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (ACHA) and is CARF accredited. Also a member of NATSAP.
RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT FACILITY
Our non-institutional, residential treatment facility allows residents to have access to the local community during their recovery. We provide a realistic, home-life setting so that clients can adapt their new coping skills within the local community. Residential clients live in fully furnished townhomes that are staffed 24 hours a day by our team of behavioral health technicians.
As clients work through independence, we offer residential treatment clients a partial level of care. Partial hospitalization encourages clients to increase their responsibility and ownership. Recovery is not always linear; if there is a need due to safety and/or clinical needs, clients can return to a higher level of care seamlessly without missing a day of care.
Lifeskills South Florida provides a complete and comprehensive therapeutic clinical track that focuses on long-term recovery for the individual and the family.
WHAT WE TREAT
At Lifeskills South Florida, we offer hope and healing for people living with psychiatric disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, borderline personality disorder, and co-occurring substance use disorders. If you or a loved one are suffering, we can help. Our evidence-based programs focus on developing independent living skills that include coping skills, cooking, nutrition, budgeting and helping individuals successfully integrate back into home, work and family life.
OUT PATIENT PROGRAMS
Intensive Outpatient Treatment(IOP): IOP is a step-down level of treatment from inpatient, residential or partial hospitalization programs. You may also choose to attend our IOP program prior to going away for treatment. We are designed to help support your recovery process and help you to receive supportive services with ease. IOP is 10 hours of treatment per week and based upon the intake assessment there is an 8 or 12-week track.
Outpatient Treatment(OP): OP is a step down from the IOP program ensuring a smooth transition while increasing independence in a life of recovery. Our Outpatient Program includes the benefits of our IOP program, with less weekly attendance. OP is 4 hours of treatment per week and based upon the intake assessment, there is a 4 or 8-week track.
Alumni Program: Our Alumni Program is offered at our Delray Beach location, for those who complete our residential program and/or outpatient program. This continuing care group is exclusive for Lifeskills Alumni and meets monthly.
