About Inspire Recovery
Inspire Recovery takes a creative approach to treating addiction for the LGBTQ community. Through art, writing & music, combined with our one-on-one and group therapy schedule, we focus on creating a safe space for personal expression.
Our team and our program are designed to enrich the emotional health and well-being of our clients. We foster and cultivate the sense of peace and happiness that is possible in recovery. We combine a 12 Step approach with responsive coaching, with an emphasis on functional medicine that includes an on-site nutritionist and weekly meditations. With open minds, new and emerging methods in the field of treating addiction and alcoholism are considered to give our clients all the tools available to overcome addiction and make lasting changes in their lives for the better.
Our treatment center hopes to inspire clients to find their passions in life, whether that be discovering a beautiful hobby, a life-long pursuit or perhaps the loving empathy and compassion to help others on their paths to recovery. In encouraging self-expression through the arts, Inspire Recovery seeks to provide a voice and a vocabulary to explore introspection and learn about personal growth. In treating our clients as whole and complete individuals, attention is paid to the multi-faceted dynamic nature of complex personalities that make up our bright and radiant LGBTQ community.
Learn More about our Team
To inspire a better life, our program provides opportunities for our Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and gender variant clients to build the foundation needed for a solid road in recovery, this involves having a vision for the future. Our clients participate in a weekly Life Skills group that focuses on aspects of resume building and job searching. They have access to our Media Room with a lending library and computers to search for employment opportunities and to type and print their resumes.
We believe that with encouragement, structure and support that our clients have the opportunity to graduate from our program with a plan to stay clean and sober and find success in what they are interested in pursuing in life.
To build upon our mission to support the LGBTQ+ community in recovery, members of the Inspire Recovery team created a non-profit organization. Founded in 2016, Transpire Help positively supports individuals who are LGBTQ+ and committed to living free from drug and/or alcohol addiction. Transpire Help aspires to provide the care and resources necessary for individuals to create a solid foundation for a healthy and fulfilling life in recovery. Transpire Help serves to re-direct financial support to help individuals pay for substance use treatment, mental health services, hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and other medications. We are dedicating to also providing support for those in need of groceries, housing, job training and education. Learn more about ways to help donate and get involved. Visit www.transpirehelp.org.
